Canary Islands and Iberia

Escape to your happy place – where the air is as warm as the smiles that greet you. Here, culture and history sit arm-in-arm with beaches and bars. Best of all, it’s a place you can enjoy all year round.

  • Sailing into cosmopolitan cities like Lisbon gives you a unique perspective into the Iberian peninsula's history.
  • Step back in time in the labyrinthine streets of the Alfama, which hasn’t changed since the Moors departed.
  • From the bridges and baroque of Porto, to the festivals and flamenco of Seville, no two days are the same.
  • The Canary Islands indulge you with summer colour all year round, where verdant green valleys, sandy beaches and lively ports all meet the cool blue Atlantic.
  • Playa del Ingles is the place to party on Gran Canaria.
  • Visit Lanzarote for beaches in red, white and black, or pretty La Palma where you're invited into a volcanic crater.

Norway and Iceland

The scenery in the Norwegian and Icelandic Fjords is among the most dramatic on the planet, and our cruises in this region are complemented with stops in spellbinding cities.

  • See the dominating mountains, glistening lakes and crashing waterfalls of Flåm, or hike in the emerald hills around the Geirangerfjord.
  • Call in at ancient Nordic cities such as Bergen, where you can take the funicular to Mount Fløien to enjoy epic views from 1,000 feet up.
  • Excursions like a scenic walk to Briksdal Glacier, kayaking along serene Geirangerfjord or visiting the beautiful Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall make nature the star of the show.
  • Whale watching is best from Akureyri, while rare sea birds can be found on the remote island of Grimsey.
  • The chic capital Reykjavik offers a chance to take a trip to the Blue Lagoon – where you can bathe in warm water heated by thermal springs, with a drink in hand!

Baltic

This is the Baltic. Your mission? To investigate the sights and sounds behind best-selling thrillers and scheming Scandi dramas. Brace yourself for a history of intrigue and invasions, and a collision of grand traditions and contemporary designs.

  • Criss-crossed by over 40 bridges, Stockholm looks as enchanting from the water as it does from the banks as stark reflections play tricks on the eye.
  • Take a chance on the ABBA museum. Kitsch costumes and glitzy gold discs aplenty!
  • Visit vibrant Helsinki, alive with classical and contemporary culture – ballet, opera, music and design.
  • Colourful St Petersburg packs a visual punch you never forget. Flamboyant and imposing, its dramatic history beckons you into the glittering palaces and churches and whispers tales of secret liaisons and mysterious murders.
