"Loved It "

Overall rating:5 stars

Loved the holiday, best one we had been on. Deputy captain would always give us a wave from the bridge in the morning etc. Only down side for me where the stupid sales they do full of old stock, it was like a second hand shop or carboot sale at times. Not what you would expect from a luxury cruise.

Dining5 stars

Seemed to be a lot of Beef, But all perfectly cooked, First time we had gone to the buffet for breakfast but it was really good so we kept going instead of going to the restaurant. Scrambled eggs was no where near as good as the Oceana.

Entertainment5 stars

Neil Oliver and his entertainment team were 1st class, Loved the sail away days and loved all the Shuffle boards, Killer Darts etc. Headliners were really good too. So much to do we never got bored.

Cabin5 stars

Nice room, loved the walk in wardrobe

Service5 stars

1st class, Just suppose the casino staff would be a bit more friendly :)

"P And O not what we expected. Azura lovely ship though "

Overall rating:3 stars

Our first cruise with P and O , good and bad points do not know if we would cruise again with them. This is our Third cruise and was expecting more from the brand.

Dining2 stars

Although the food was always hot the selection of food within the buffet was very limited to say the least . We have cruised with RC before and Costa , the Azura had the least selection of meals, fruit and cakes. Would recommend Sindhu good value for the £15 pp cover charge.

Entertainment2 stars

The Live shows were the best we have seen at sea although this was let down by the entertainment staff . When they were performing were great and outgoing but walking about the ship the most ignorant bunch i have ever met . Should take a leaf from the cabin stewards and other staff always polite and saying hello etc when passing.

Cabin4 stars

Our cabin was on the Rivera deck R612 mid ship . Lovely clean cabin ,well appointed and fresh looking as you would expect from a three year old ship. Cabin Steward was lovely very attentive . Only daft small thing on a 14 night cruise not one of the windows on the whole ship had been cleaned which as we all know gets very dirty from the sea and at the end...

Service4 stars

Pre cruise service was excellent and couldn't be more help full . Our first time departing from Southampton and found it very easy. The biggest let down was the food . We are a reasonable couple and dint expect the world but from the brand expected far more than what we got.

"Great time; can't wait to go again!"

Overall rating:5 stars

This was my wife's an my second P&O cruise. You can have Princess and Thomson. We're staying with P&O from now on. We thought such a large ship with 3200 passengers would be crowded and that we'd compete for seats in bars, restaurants, shows, etc. But with only one or two exceptions, we found it easy to get seats everywhere we wanted to be, when we wanted to be there.

Dining5 stars

The food, table service and wine service in the Peninsular Restaurant were top notch. The food, service and wine service in all three specialty restaurants was extraordinary. 17 would be a Michelin Star restaurant if it were on dry land. The supplement you pay to dine in the specialty restaurants very reasonable for the experience.

Entertainment5 stars

There was a great variety and we had no trouble getting seats to all but one event. Even then, we got in...it was just a little tight.

Cabin5 stars

The cabin was perfect. Our cabin steward was super-attentive. He was always there when we needed him for anything, but his service was otherwise magically invisible.

Service5 stars

With very few minor exceptions, service was extraordinary at every venue.

"Good but a few problems"

Overall rating:5 stars

A very large ship with a good outside sea screen

Dining5 stars

Freedom dining was poor in the main restaurant, really tough meat. Glass house was excellent and worth the extra charge

Entertainment3 stars

Poor to be honest

Cabin5 stars

Excellent but problem with smokers each side of the cabin

Service3 stars

Some problems with guests being ignored for drinks. One lady got a wave from a waiter when she wanted a drink. She had to go to the bar herself in the end

"Wow!! What a magnificent ship. "

Overall rating:5 stars

Great cruise for a taster to cruise life although probably 3 nights better than 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed this mini cruise and couldnt believe the luxurious surroundings we found ourselves in. As this is a larger ship it took a while to find our bearings hence wishing we had done a 3 night one

Dining5 stars

The restaurants were great. Plenty of food for breakfast lunch and dinner.....starve yourself for a few days before you go!! Great waiter service, very attentive and polite and efficient

Entertainment5 stars

Great array for all tastes

Cabin5 stars

"Good Value, a great time and good break"

Overall rating:5 stars

This was a good time and a welcome break, though only for 2 nights the P7O standard were still evident.

Dining5 stars

Dinned at Sidhu, what a great time the fod and service were excellent.

Entertainment4 stars

Same as you would expect on a P&O cruise

Cabin5 stars

It was excellent, ended up in a disabled cabin which had plenty of space

Service4 stars

All were excellent from the Cabin Steward, waiters and casino staff

"Excellent time"

Overall rating:5 stars

We have just got back from a short cruise to Guernsey, there was eight of us in the party, ages ranging from 17 - 68, We all had a fantastic time and would definitely go again. The food was lovely and me and my daughter are both very fussy and vegetarians. The entertainment was good. The Azura was everything I imagined and more.

"2 night Cruise to Guernsey on Azura - don't bother"

Overall rating:1 stars

We went on a 2 night cruise to Guernsey to celebrate 2 special birthdays with our friends on the Azura. Very disappointing. The Captain said due to bad weather we wouldn't be anchoring at Guernsey. The facilities on board were poor for a day at sea. We couldn't get food at the restaurants as they were too packed and tables not cleared. Food was of poor quality. The entertainment was not up to the normal P and O standard. Extra events were put on like a film in a lounge where you could hardly see the screen - not appropriate facility. We did line dancing that was the only good thing. Nothing else worth doing. We were really disappointed and our friends now won't cruise again, even though we have told them this isn't what we normally experience. We would have thought the Captain would have known about the weather (even though it seemed calm at sea) and docked somewhere close for even 1/2 a day. I've written to P and O and they haven't had the courtesy to reply. Very disappointed and now will travel with other cruise lines who appreciate their customers.
