First, there’s time to get acquainted with Arcadia during your transatlantic sailing. A week later, you’ll arrive at New York; the ‘Big Apple’ to enjoy an afternoon and a full day in the USA’s most charismatic city. The yachting haven of Newport couldn’t be more of a contrast with its fabulous mansions, breathtaking scenery and the world famous 10-mile Ocean Drive. Use your full day and evening in friendly Boston to follow the Freedom Trail or visit Harvard University. Portland offers an eclectic mix of waterfront restaurants, galleries and boutiques.
Then it’s on to a string of interesting Canadian ports. Take a stroll around the cobblestone walkways of historic St John, New Brunswick. Then take in the sparkling coves of Halifax and the imposing walled city of Quebec before your final stop in Canada’s birthplace, charming Charlottetown.
