Cruise Overview

Explore the Caribbean the easy way with this 28 night no fly cruise on board Adonia.
You will embark in Southampton before heading to the Atlantic island of Madeira – famous for its flower markets and wine. On leaving Madeira, you’ll begin that most iconic of sea journeys – a transatlantic crossing. This will give you time to get to know Adonia much better. Perhaps you’ll indulge in a day in the spa, perhaps you’ll just watch the mighty ocean from your balcony. The choice will be yours.
Your first Caribbean destination is St Maarten. This half Dutch, half French island is one of the Caribbean’s most diverse and interesting islands with much to explore. Next, you’ll visit Antigua with its 365 stunning beaches, before heading to the chic island of Martinique. This little slice of France with its own laid back Caribbean charm is sure to enchant you. Perhaps you’ll explore Martinique’s superb beaches or relax in the colourful capital Fort-de-France – taking in the sights and sounds, and maybe a local rum punch.
After Martinique, Barbados will be you next stop. This bustling island boasts yet more stunning beaches, whilst the capital Bridgetown hosts intriguing signs of Barbados’ British colonial past for you to discover.
Next you can look forward to visiting St Lucia, the epitome of a Caribbean paradise with lush rain forests making way for pristine white beaches and pretty little fishing villages. St Kitts beckons next. This pretty little island covers just 65 square miles, but has its own volcano-dominated mini-mountain range and a World Heritage Site: Brimstone Hill fortress – giving you plenty to explore. Finally in the Caribbean, you will visit Tortola in the unspoilt British Virgin Islands – a tranquil island paradise, which has remained largely undeveloped; this paradise will give you a true snapshot of traditional Caribbean life.
On departing the Caribbean you’ll have a few days to relax on board Adonia, perhaps giving you time to swap stories of the past week’s adventures with new found friends, before arriving in the Azores and the pretty Portuguese-influenced city of Ponta Delgada. After a day exploring, you’ll embark Adonia one final time for your trip back to Southampton.
