Then it’s off to the tiny village of Flamm and its extraordinary railway, which rises more than 865 metres above sea level in just 12 miles before a call in the small sleepy village of Eidfjord, gateway to some huge-scale attractions, including the largest high mountain plateau (Hardangervidda) and Norway's largest national park.
