From Gaudi"s extraordinary architecture in Barcelona to the historical ruins of Rome and Cartagena, there"s plenty to see and do on this 14- night cruise with Ventura.

First stop is Cartagena, founded more than 2,200 years ago, where you should watch out for the towering fortresses flanking the harbour as you cruise towards the port. Barcelona offers spectacular sights of its own with its brilliant Gaudi buildings, bustling Las Ramblas and the extraordinary La Boqueria food market. You"ll then move to glamorous Cannes where you should keep your eyes peeled for the rich and famous on the Promenade de la Croisette. Next stop is Rome where it seems historical ruins can be found around every corner.

In Ajaccio, the Corsican birthplace of Napoleon, it"s fun to spot the many statues of the great man. Gibraltar follows with its superb tax-free shopping, stunning views from the top of the Rock and world-famous Barbary apes. Your last stop is the bustling Spanish port of La Coruna where the colonnaded Maria Pita Square is at the heart of the old town, with many shops, bars and restaurants all around.
