About the cruise

Escape this summer on board elegant Oceana for an enchanting week to the continent.

Your first port of call is Vigo, one of Spain’s premier fishing ports. So don’t miss the local seafood in one of the Old Town’s many excellent restaurants. See the spot where Columbus returned from his first voyage to the New World. Or visit the famous thermal spa on the nearby island of La Toja.

One of the least well known, but certainly one of the loveliest of European capitals, Lisbon is next. Head for the fascinating Alfama district with its maze of cobbled streets, or stroll along the Avenida da Liberdade, the widest street on earth.

La Rochelle is an intriguing blend of the historic and modern with a medieval fortress and 16th century mansions alongside a modern resort style town. Alternatively visit nearby Cognac to sample its eponymous product.

Finally, to St. Peter Port in Guernsey, in the Channel Islands, where the street names are in French and English is the official language. This sleepy, quaint town rises steeply from its magnificent harbour, and its cobbled streets and granite houses create a spectacular setting.
