About the cruise

The whitewashed timber buildings of Stavanger rise gradually from the port up the hillside and provide a picturesque welcome to Norway. In Alesund there’s the opportunity to spend a full day and evening in the city centre which spans the two islands of Aspøy and Nørvøy. There’s an eclectic mix of architecture and many intriguing museums to be enjoyed. Perhaps one of the region’s most famous villages, Geiranger, based in the mighty Geirangefjord is also on your itinerary. Plus there is Bergen, a city dominated by Mount Ulriken – the peak can be reached easily via cable car.

Arriving home after 7 nights, the sights seen will have included prehistoric inlets carved by mighty icebergs. Waterfalls cascading from high above. Isolated houses that add colourful reflections to the water’s edge. It will have been an incredible week away.
