Fjords

About the cruise

Prehistoric inlets carved by mighty icebergs. Waterfalls cascading from high above. Isolated houses adding colourful reflections to the water’s edge. Sights such as these are exactly why people choose to cruise to the Norwegian fjords. It’s the only way to see them in all their true majesty.

The whitewashed timber buildings of Stavanger rise gradually from the port up the hillside and provide a picturesque welcome to Norway. Oceana heads for Alesund next where there’s the opportunity to spend a full day in the city centre, which spans the two islands of Aspøy and Nørvøy. Here, there’s an eclectic mix of architecture and many intriguing museums to be found.

From Olden you have the opportunity to visit the incredible Briksdal Glacier before Oceana sets off on an evening cruise through the Nordfjord. Bergen is your final port with its colourful timber buildings, bustling fish market and immense Mount Ulriken - the peak of which can easily be reached via cable car.
