Gliding away from port you sail through Geirangerfjord, which is dominated by sheer mountain walls and cascading waterfalls. The scenery towering above you is amazing.

Alesund is a pretty coastal town. Its streets are lined with turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau buildings. The turrets, spires and beautiful ornamentation give the town a distinctive fairytale character. And the panoramic views from Mount Alaska are worth the 418 step ascent.

The thriving city of Stavanger is in the ‘Cradle of the Vikings’. Stroll the cobbled streets of the old quarter with its collection of 18th century wooden houses. Visit the magnificent 12th century cathedral and tour the Maritime Museum.
