About the cruise
Set sail in search of some late summer sunshine on the inspirational decks of Ventura.
In Corunna, nicknamed the ‘Crystal City’ due to the modern glass-enclosed buildings on the harbour front, you will also find the oldest working lighthouse in the world – Hercules’ Tower. Stop at the floating garden of Madeira, for some cake and sweet wine. Try the cable car ride to the top of Monte for panoramic views of this stunning island paradise.
Your first port of call in the Canaries, La Palma, is quiet in comparison to its neighbours. Home to an abundance of flora and fauna and pretty villages, you will also find one of the biggest volcanic craters in the world.
Tenerife, the largest of the islands, boasts the most diverse terrain. From the verdant gardens in the north and the gorgeous beaches in the south, to the mountain at the heart of the island, there is plenty to see and do.
If it’s sunshine and beaches you crave, you’ll love Gran Canaria. Walking across Maspalomas is like being in a small desert with sand spanning as far as the eye can see.
Built on seven hills on the banks of the Tagus River, lovely Lisbon has retained an imperial air. Lavish palaces and monasteries, crammed with majestic treasures and an enchanting old quarter, all add its charm. Enjoy Vigo’s fresh seafood and wash it down with some Albariño wine, with a visit to one of the surrounding vineyards.
