While exploring the city and enjoying a romantic boat ride on the charming canals, be sure to seek out some of Bruges’ less publicized attractions. Stop by the diamond museum, where professionals explain and demonstrate cutting and polishing methods used since 1450. And, after all that hard work, don’t miss out on a tour of the nearby ‘Strafe Hendrick’ brewery, where you can sample the wares. From Zeebrugge, you can also visit another historic city, Ghent, or the battlefield sites of Waterloo and Ypres.
