About the cruise
Artemis is the perfect host. Exuding a real charm, her stylish interiors offer elegance and intimacy, with the perfect balance of lively entertainment venues and peaceful retreats. Her farewell to Southampton in 2011 marks the start of her third world voyage. Steering a course east, explore the shores of the Mediterranean, Middle East, India, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan, before returning via the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Seychelles, Mauritius and South Africa.
With a total of 38 ports on your itinerary, each one is certain to be a highlight in its own right. However, two in particular stand out - Hong Kong and Cape Town. Here Artemis spends the night. With longer ashore, the grandeur of these spectacular cities can really be appreciated. In fact, Artemis visits Hong Kong on two separate occasions, providing even more time for exploring this island’s many attractions – Victoria Peak, Stanley Market and Aberdeen Harbour to name but a few.
In reality, every single step of this magical journey will offer unforgettable experiences. Ancient man-made wonders such as the Pyramids of Giza, the rose-red city of Petra and the Great Wall of China, plus striking monuments and temples in Thailand, Vietnam and Bali. There’s 21st century innovations including Dubai’s soaring skyscrapers and Singapore’s Esplanade arts complex, alongside spectacular natural sights such as the towering limestone islands of Thailand, the beaches of the Seychelles and Cape Town’s Table Mountain. There’ll even be the chance to not only see, but hear, touch, taste and smell the frenetic streets of Mumbai, Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai.
