Arriving in Stavanger, you can take a step back in time with a stroll around the Gamle Stavanger. Tromsø, the ‘City of the Midnight Sun’, is well inside the Arctic Circle. It has consequently been the starting point for many Polar Expeditions as evidenced
by the statue of Roald Amundsen near the harbour. Do not miss the astonishing Arctic Cathedral. Affectionately known as the ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, Bergen is
an enchanting city with a fascinating and spectacular setting. Admire the same landscapes that inspired Norway’s most revered composer, and take a visit to Edvard Greig’s home at Troldhaugen, overlooking Nordaas Lake on the outskirts of the city. Visit the unique Stavechurch and the open-air Old Bergen Museum for an insight into the city’s past.[/p]
Eidfjord is a scenic delight. Take a bus ride along the banks of the Eid River before climbing into the stupendous Mabodal Valley. From the Fossli viewpoint, you will be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the thundering Voringsfoss Waterfall.
