About the cruise

As the evenings start to cool and the trees take on new hues, it’s time to sail away on Artemis for a four night getaway to a couple of Europe’s most spectacular cities.

First it’s Amsterdam, where you can immerse yourself in the history and art of this romantic city. With an overnight in port you will have plenty of time to uncover Amsterdam’s freewheeling, cosmopolitan café society and huge range of attractions. Wander through world-class galleries and museums, enjoy 17th and 18th century architecture and indulge in a canal boat ride through the serene tree-lined canals.

Next is medieval Bruges, a city full of cosy corners, leafy parks, cobbled squares, narrow alleyways, intriguing museums and historic buildings. It also another canal city and is sometimes called the ‘Venice of the North’ – albeit on a smaller, more intimate scale. The selection of beers here is impressive and you will have to try at least one of the 500 different brands available. Make sure there is space in your suitcase for some of the exquisite lacework sold all over this picture postcard city.

Return to Southampton well rested and rejuvenated. And remember, your days away are spent on board Artemis, so you are guaranteed superb food, great service and fabulous entertainment.
