This scenic tour unveils the sights and scenes of the south, including one of the island’s famous landmarks, the saltpans.
The Las Salinas saltpans, located on the southernmost tip of Ibiza, have been in use for more than 2,000 years. The earliest colonists, the Carthaginians, traded in the ‘white gold’ and even today over 100,000 tons is extracted from the pans each year. The salt is transported by a tiny train – the only one on the island – to begin its journey to all parts of the world.

Stop off at San Jose, a small mountain village set in picturesque surroundings. Take a look at the attractive 18th century church or stroll at leisure, browsing the village’s handicraft shops.

Once a quiet fishing village, San Antonio is now a lively, bustling port, where you’ll have time to browse amongst the myriad of shops and walk along the fountain-adorned promenade. Your last stop will be in the upper part of Ibiza’s old town where you will see the Cathedral (exterior visit). From here, enjoy stunning views over the town and the harbour.

Enjoy a glimpse of Ibiza’s northern coastal resorts and dip your toes in the warm shallow waters at Cala San Vicente.
The typical village of San Miguel is known as the gateway to the rugged northern coastline of Ibiza. Set in a commanding position, the village and its parish church dominate the countryside all the way down to the coast. You’ll have time to wander through the picturesque village at leisure. The road running east to Santa Eulalia and San Vicente is particularly beautiful, winding through the woodlands before once again reaching the coastline and the town of San Carlos, a typical ‘ibicenco’ village.

Spectacular views welcome you on your arrival to the Bay of Cala San Vicente, surrounded by gently-sloping, pine-clad hills. Take a stroll along the traffic-free promenade, dotted with palm trees, or just sit back, relax and enjoy a cool and refreshing drink at one of the beach side cafés overlooking the beautiful Bay.

In Santa Eulalia, a favourite haunt of artists since the time of Sorolla, you’ll be able to saunter along the promenade, lined with open-air cafés and restaurants. The tour takes you across fertile farmland, over substantial hills, alongside cliffs and finally down to an unexpected placid sea. Covering the northern territory of the island, it offers plenty of photo opportunities.

Explore Europe’s most ancient fortress city on foot and see the fairytale architecture and magnificent views of the D’Alt Vila.
D’Alt Vila, officially declared a World Heritage site in 1999, was founded by the Phoenicians in 600 B.C. You’ll see how the structure of the ancient walled fortress has grown around the original castle and evolved according to the city’s defence needs. Follow the narrow winding paths and tread the cobblestones that have been smoothly polished by the feet of centuries of walkers.

Passing the Cathedral, view the mixture of architectural styles (gothic and baroque), which demonstrate the eras of both construction and restoration. See the 16th century Church of Santo Domingo and continue until you arrive at the statue of Isidor Macabich, the famous Ibizian poet. Entering an ancient cobbledstoned courtyard, you’ll arrive at Placa de Vila (main square). The Portal de ses Taules, a dramatic drawbridge, brings you to the official entrance of the ancient city.

After time to relax over lunch, your next stop will be at San Miguel where you’ll have approximately 1¾ hours to swim and enjoy the crystal-clear waters, or discover the pirate tower.
