About the cruise

Enjoy an alternative Christmas on board Artemis this year and replace the usual grey days and Christmas rush with some well-earned winter sunshine and days of pure relaxation.

On this cruise, child-free Artemis calls at no less than 8 Caribbean islands, as well as Panama and Colombia. It’s hard to beat the Caribbean for sheer beauty. White sand beaches, swaying palms and stunning coastlines are just the start. Island-hopping from one isle to the next through crystal-clear waters, every island has its own distinct character and traditions. Set all this against a backdrop of markets, exuberant locals, historical sites and natural splendours such as waterfalls, reefs and tropical gardens and you have plenty of options for adventure.

Just before Christmas day you arrive for a full day and evening in Colon. From here, you can relive the adventures of Captain Morgan at San Lorenzo Fort, head into the rain forest to meet the Choco Indians or see the amazing Gatun locks of the Panama Canal in action. The following day you get to experience the canal first hand with a partial daytime transit. A few days later you arrive in Colombia, shop for local emeralds, explore historic palaces and mansions or discover an idyllic beach in historic Cartagena, the oldest walled city in the Americas. Christmas Day is spent at sea, celebrating all the usual traditions and then you arrive in Aruba on Boxing Day, from where you fly home. What an incredible way to spend Christmas!
