About the cruise
Join Aurora for a captivating midsummer cruise taking in Ireland, Greenland, Iceland and Norway. From Southampton, spend two days in Ireland at the ports of Cobh and Dublin, before sailing the North Sea to the remote shores of Julianehab, its colourful wooden houses overlooked by spectacular jagged mountain peaks. Godthab or Nuuk in Greenland is the smallest capital city in the world – and reputedly home to Santa Claus. Can you hear Iceland calling? Visits to both Reykjavik and Akureyri offer a unique insight into life in the far north.
Back in Norway, Alesund’s eclectic architecture stretches across three islands at the mouth of magnificent Geirangerford, and here you can visit the fascinating Art Nouveau Centre before experiencing the quiet beauty of an evening cruise through nine-mile Geirangerfjord, the most photographed of all Norway’s fjords. Charming Bergen is your penultimate port, where the imposing Mount Ulriken dominates the skyline. Then, it’s just a short hop to final port of call Stavanger, ‘Cradle of the Vikings’, before a leisurely day at sea en route to Southampton.
On this cruise, you’ll have the chance to experience our Music Festivals at Sea. Hosted by well-known personalities from TV, radio and the stage and complemented by a wonderful team of internationally renowned artists, there’s something to suit everyone, whatever your taste.
