From Civitavecchia, you can visit the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome. The Sistine Chapel, the Vatican’s Swiss Guards, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum…and don’t forget to throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain to guarantee your return. Then onto the dramatic walled city of Dubrovnik. This medieval jewel is filled with historic monasteries and cream-fronted, red-roofed houses.

There is so much to see on this cruise that you will be grateful for the chance to chill out on the Greek holiday island of Corfu, before a visit to Malta. With a rich heritage of archaeology, history, architecture, art and culture, its harbour in Valletta dates back to the 16th century.

Tripoli, the ‘White Bride of the Mediterranean’, has historic mosques and lively streets, and is dominated by the Red Castle. Visit Roman Sabratha and Emperor Commodus’ theatre. Before heading for home, tour medieval Vigo. Try the local fresh seafood and stroll the intriguing cobbled streets of Bayona’s Old Quarters.
