P&O CRUISES

Greenland & Fjords

X910 - Oriana - 29 June 2009 for 18 nights

Greenland & Fjords

About the cruise

This cruise combines breathtaking scenery with a stimulating on board art programme. One of 2009’s designated Tate Talk cruises, when the sights on shore aren’t vying for your attention, you can enjoy a full programme filled with exhibitions, talks, interviews and hands on workshops.

From Southampton, spend two days in Ireland at the ports of Cobh and Dublin, before sailing the North Sea to the shores of the smallest capital city in the world, Godthab in Greenland. Can you hear Iceland calling? Visits to both Reykjavik and Akureyri offer a unique insight into life in the far north. Back in Norway, why not visit the incredible Briksdal Glacier before Oriana sets off on an evening cruise through the Nordfjord? Bergen is the penultimate port where the imposing Mount Ulriken dominates the skyline. Then, it’s just a short hop to the final port of call, Stavanger, before a leisurely day at sea en route to Southampton.

Exclusive to P&O Cruises, this cruise features a series of fun and informative talks on British art and creative workshops, led by Tate Britain experts.
