Join Adonia in the Chilean port of Valparaiso for a trip that takes in ancient wonders, man-made marvels and the carefree Caribbean.

Busy Coquimbo boasts one of the best harbours on the coast. From here Adonia arrives in Arica, departure point for trips to see some of the oldest mummies in the world. Heading onwards to Peru, you stop at Callao, landing point for Lima and visits to Machu Picchu. More Incan wonders are found in Salaverry, which also offers the Temples of the Sun and Moon built by the Moche tribe.

Pick up a Montecristi Panama Hat during your call at Manta in Ecuador and wear it with pride as you transit the world-famous canal. The Colombian city and World Heritage site, Cartagena is your final South American stop before Adonia transports you to eight sun-soaked Caribbean islands. From the talcum-soft beaches of exotic Aruba to the jaw-dropping beauty of Tobago; the signs of Barbados’s British colonial past to the dramatic skyline of St Lucia, each has its own character and attractions. You’ll also enjoy the French chic of St Barts; the hidden treasures of Virgin Gorda; diverse St Maarten, which is half French and half Dutch; and idyllic Antigua.

Adonia then makes a final call in Ponta Delgada in the Azores, followed by a further few days at sea before returning to Southampton.
