About Aarhus
Aarhus is a lively city boasting many cultural attractions and a welcoming atmosphere. First inhabited by the Vikings over a thousand years ago, today its growing population makes it Denmark’s second largest city. Take a stroll through the old narrow lanes to discover traditional half-timbered houses, many of which have been converted into art shops, pottery workshops, galleries and cafés. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants where you can sample traditional Danish cuisine, or venture further afield to visit the famous ‘Legoland’.
