Alternatively, shop for local handicrafts, such as wood and stone carvings or colourful textiles, or explore San Cristobal de Las Casas Cathedral, a blend of baroque and colonial architecture. For sun seekers, walk along one of its untamed beaches and bask in the alluring exotic ambience.
