Going ashore

Visiting 225 destinations in 90 countries, your options ashore are diverse. With over 1,200 tours a year on offer around the world, shore excursions have something to suit everyone, so whether you are seeking cultural insights, active adventures, family fun, once in a lifetime experiences, beaches or scenery – take your pick.

An entirely optional part of your cruise, the excursions enable you to make the very most of your time ashore and give you that added peace of mind. English speaking guides make new places that bit more accessible, while organised transport and entrance fees mean you can relax and simply soak up the experience. If you would rather do your own thing, in many ports you can simply be dropped off in a safe place and picked up later with a shuttle service.

The excursions are charged in pounds sterling. This means that you’ll be getting a great day ashore at the best possible price, particularly in light of the current exchange rates.
