There is a heady atmosphere in the casino, one that is so electric you can feel it course through you. It needs to be experienced at least once in your holiday. Elegantly styled rooms, rich with sumptuous fabrics create the perfect setting to flirt a little with Lady Luck. If you haven’t stepped foot inside a casino before then this is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to this exhilarating pastime. Not just a place to send emails and keep in contact with friends and family back home, the Cyb@study offer the opportunity to acquaint yourself with the latest software packages and technology. You could, for example, discover how to get the very most out of your digital photography with Photosuite. There may even be some of the more standard Microsoft packages like Excel and Word that you might have been waiting for the right time to learn how to use.

The Ship’s Photographer

There is such an array of things to photograph when you are on a cruise, from spectacular sunsets and sealife to the breathtaking sights in the destinations you will visit along the way. Rather than take rolls of film home or full memory cards, take them along to The Photo Gallery and they will develop your films on board or download your memory cards onto CD, leaving you free to take even more photos to reminisce over once you arrive home.

More than that though, The Ship’s Photographers are also there to capture those special holiday moments – when you embark, when you are on a tour and when you are dressed in your absolute finest on Captain’s Cocktail night. Taken throughout your holiday you can browse the photographs displayed in The Photo Gallery and you can even purchase a special DVD of your cruise or a CD featuring a collection of professional images of the ship and all the exciting ports you have visited.

Our contemporary ‘Reflect’ photography goes one stage further offering personal lifestyle portraitures for your whole family that captures your individual personalities. The image can be transferred to canvas or into a variety of different sizes and styles of frames to create a bespoke piece of artwork to adorn your home.

Art Auctions

Art may not be something that you would expect to find on board but our ships are adorned with art and sculptures from a wide variety of international artists. In addition you can muse at the artist’s intended meaning of key artwork showcased in the Art Gallery. Should you find yourself drawn to a particular piece and imagine it adorning your own home, then you will be pleased to know that the art is available for purchase at our enthralling Art Auctions. These unique and fun events are normally held a couple of times throughout your cruise, giving you the opportunity to bid for your chosen piece.

Laundry services

You will find a reasonably priced laundry and pressing service on board. Alternatively, you will find free launderettes available for your use.

How can I find my way around?

Getting around your ship could not be easier. You will find a pocket guide in your stateroom and large ship maps conveniently placed around the ship, so you will always be able to get your bearings.

Florist

Exotic tropical blooms, classic British favourites our Florist presents a colourful array of options. Your stateroom is already relaxing, but the addition of fresh cut flowers expertly arranged can create a sense of being in a home from home. The Florist’s skill and creativity is showcased in the spectacular arrangements displayed around the ship. Treat yourself to your favourite bouquet or perhaps treat a friend or loved one.
