Artemis is one of the best-loved ships at sea, so it is only fitting that her Farewell Cruise be a celebration of her time with us. To date, nearly 100,000 people have travelled on her since she first entered service with P&O Cruises in June 2005, so there is no doubt that many will be sad to see her leave.

During her time with P&O Cruises, Artemis has visited the Mediterranean on many occasions. On 12 April 2011, she will return here for one final 14 night voyage visiting, among others, the iconic cities of Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Rome.

To ensure that this is a truly memorable occasion, passengers will enjoy a variety of commemorative events and entertainment throughout their cruise. These will include a majestic champagne sailaway, signature menus and special commemorative memorabilia, plus well loved entertainers and even some special guests.

There is also a Music Festival at Sea programme planned for this Farewell Cruise; a unique celebration of the music and musicians from both classical and jazz fields. Welcoming back a number of internationally-renowned artists from previous festivals at sea, passengers will be able to enjoy a variety of recitals, concerts, jazz jamming sessions, talks and interviews.
