If the price for your cruise rises after you have booked, then you can be assured you have received excellent value by booking early. Equally, if the Vantage Fare reduces we will give you on board spending money or an upgrade to the value of the reduction, so both ways you win!

Early Booking Saving

All our Vantage Fares for cruises departing from April 2014 include a 5% Early Booking Saving.

Where applicable, the Vantage Fares are shown with the 5% Early Booking Saving deducted. The 5% Early Booking Saving is likely to be available up until three months prior to the month of departure, but is subject to availability and may be withdrawn earlier.  The 5% Early Booking Saving also includes March 2014 cruises Ventura N406, Oriana X407 and Oceana E405. Please note this saving does not apply to infant fares or holiday package add-ons.

Flexibility to change your booking

Subject to our booking terms & conditions, with our Vantage Fare you can cancel or change your booking with the following cancellation charges:
From the date of booking until 91 days before departure: 15% of price
90 to 57 days 50% of price
56 to 42 days 60% of price
41 to 16 days 75% of price
15 to 6 days 90% of price

Your choice of cabins

If you know which cabin you would like you can select this at the time of booking with a Vantage fare. This is subject to availability so book early!

Getaways fares are based on 2 passengers sharing a cabin. Therefore, if you are planning to book a cabin for sole occupancy or wish to book a cabin to accommodate 3 or 4, then please select our Vantage fare option.

Your choice of dining

For evening dining in our main restaurants all of our ships offer‘Club Dining’ – a term we use to describe dining at the same table, at the same time each evening, which is something of a P&O Cruises tradition.

On Arcadia, Azura, Oceana, Ventura, Oriana (from May 2014) and Aurora (from Dec 2014), you can choose ‘Freedom Dining’ instead, which enables you to dine in a dedicated main restaurant in the evening at the time you wish with whomever you choose. During peak times when the restaurant is busy, we will offer you a pager which will allow you to enjoy a drink in one of the bars until your table is ready.

Shuttle buses where provided by P&O Cruises

With Vantage Fares shuttle buses will be offered free of charge in ports where they are provided by P&O Cruises, but you may incur a charge if you book under a Getaway Fare. This is only applicable to featured cruises sailing from April 2014, as well as March 2014 cruises Ventura N406, Oriana X407 and Oceana E405.

Price Promise

Price Promise means that you can secure your booking early with confidence, safe in the knowledge that if we were to reduce the Vantage Fares for your cruise, we promise to automatically pass on the value of the saving to you
in the form of a complimentary benefit such as on board spending money or a cabin upgrade to the value of any reduction. The Price Promise applies to Vantage Fares published by P&O Cruises and applies to the same cruise and grade of cabin, sold under the same terms and conditions. The particular Price Promise complimentary benefit applied shall be at the absolute discretion of P&O Cruises.

 In addition, if you have booked a Vantage Fare for cruises sailing from April 2014 direct with P&O Cruises and see exactly the same cruise holiday advertised at a lower price within 48 hours of booking, then you can claim the value of the difference back in on board spending money.  Lower fares advertised must be valid. If you have a claim to make please use our Price Promise Protection claim form.

Price Promise protection does not apply to our Getaway Fares, holiday add-ons, nor where P&O Cruises is not the tour operator selling the holiday. Complimentary benefit are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation fees are assessed on the original price of your booking. Applies to new bookings only.
