Wave goodbye to winter on a journey of Caribbean discovery on board Britannia

What a warm welcome to the Caribbean Barbados offers. Britannia awaits you, moored in the capital and cruise port, Bridgetown. Enjoy a day of water sports, stunning nature walks, or a trip to the magnificent Harrison’s Cave complex of caverns and waterfalls. There are so many ways to see your next destination – beautiful Bonaire – from a 4x4 safari or snorkelling to Harley-Davidson tours. The paradise island of Aruba boasts an alien landscape of cactuses and twisted divi-divi trees, but the locals make you feel right at home. And there’s much to do in Tobago – from swimming and snorkelling in the tropical waters, to guided tours of cocoa estates and nature reserves. St Vincent won’t disappoint – with its fresh seafood, gentle calypso and unspoilt coves, it has an allure all of its own. Perhaps you'll take a gentle kayak tour of the beautiful coast and visit Byahaut Cove – one of the filming locations for 'Pirates of the Caribbean'?

In St Lucia, a tour to the dramatic Soufrière volcano shows off the island’s full beauty, dominated by the twin peaks of Les Pitons. Antigua is the perfect place to get into the Caribbean spirit (think chilling out on some of its 365 paradise beaches) or soak up some fascinating history at Nelson’s Dockyard. Sailing on, you’ll arrive in picture-perfect St Kitts, blessed with deserted white beaches, sugar cane fields and lush rainforest. One of the Caribbean’s prettiest harbours awaits in Grenada. Spend a day enjoying its waterfalls, rainforests, volcanic craters and beaches – especially Grand Anse – just around the bay from St George’s, then relax on the paradise island of Martinique. Finally, it’s back to beautiful Barbados and from here, hard as it may be, you’ll fly home.
