I think my best memory (but it's hard to choose)....2 in the morning and it's still light and we can just see Iceland on the horizon...then sailing towards it in the twilight.

| We loved Iceland - and it should be even better value ashore now! I assume you are going to Akeyuri? We did a tour there which was our best ever. Can't remember what it was called...probably something like "Best of the North"...just saw so many amazing landscapes, it was like doing a world tour in one day! Enjoy!

| Not for all, but we loved ...Trinidad..not because it's a wonderful place it's not really, but the visit to Asa Wright Nature Centre up in the rainforest for the hummingbirds & then down at sea level to the Caroni Swamp for the Scarlet Ibis was SPECIAL.

| It has to be when we were sailing across the atlantic on Oriana in 2000 and were hit by a freak wave that shattered cabin windows. We got an extra day's cruising out of it and the camaraderie on board was quite something - shades of the Dunkirk spirit.

Cruising up the river into Rio de Janeiro at 6am and seeing the limestone cliffs and the Corcovado appear out of the dawn mist. Wonderful.

| Like most people... so many great memories, but seeing the volcano erupting in Rabul will take some beating, and the Whales in Honolulu.
