Afternoon all,

As Bob says, 8 sleeps for those of us travelling down on the Sunday!!!

I am working my last shift of this week tonight (overtime in A&E) and then I am on a countdown of 3 more shifts before we go.

The wayward dress I was waiting for arrived on Wednesday - collected it from the post office as I headed up to London where I 'did' the tourist thing including my first trip on the London Eye!! Now I am on a mission for some underpinnings!! Could be a tall order and might mean another trip into London.

Started thinking about packing today and have sorted out a few things to take to the dry cleaners on monday.

Have a good weekend all and see you in 8 short days time!! Will also sort out getting contact details to the Sunday people in the next couple of days.

Hi Fiona and all,

suddenly it seems only a few days away, just another week at work.

My wife has already filled our spare room with an assortment of clothes, I just let her get on with it all and wear what I am told, to complement her. See you all in just over a week.

Regards Phil & Liz.

Morning everyone from new York!

Stepping on board another ship this morning which is unexpected as thought Oriana would be next. SS New York is starting service this week with the US navy and is in ny for its commisioning day. The hull is made from steel from the twin towers. Going for a look round before it sets sail. Hope there is a cruise director and some good cocktails and shows lol!

Yes time is slipping by and we will soon be onboard ship.  Will be getting cases out on Tuesday and start the packing!  All my dresses are sorted which I will be wearing in the evening, just daytime to think about.  Looking at the 15 day weather forecasts for where we will be it looks like it will be in the 70's , except of course for Vigo which is a bit hit & miss, so hopefully will be wearing shorts and T-shirts in the daytime.

Look forward to meeting you all!

I had to take all the clothes off the bed in the spare room as my granddaughter stayed over last night. I`ve got to rearrange them tomorrow. I cant believe that this cruise will be here in a few days. Looking forward to meeting you all on board!!!

Hello all.

I have just got the last couple bits i need before next week yippeeee. Have started putting bits and bobs in the suitcase, had a drama a couple weeks ago as my formal clothes did not fit anymore! Me and my dad are going on this cruise, love Oriana have been on her twice before.

Im 20, Anyone else around my age going? First time i have gone without my brother and mum and not being in a age to go to the 'kids' clubs. So someone my age would be much appreciated.

Get in contact please.

Still heard nothing back from the ship about the get together so I have employed one of my tactics and contacted someone off the radar so to speak. I am hoping to hear back from them in the next few days.

If I don't hear anything back by friday then I will give it a go once we are onboard the ship and hope things will be in place for refreshments if not then I will have a back up plan in place!!

Any ideas on what theme nights there may be on board? Or what type of things people are taking just incase there is a themed night. Also is anyone on the waiting list for the restaurant?
