Hi

Just wondered if anyone else was sailing the Caribbean on N926. Would be good to hear from fellow cruisers, although still have a wee while to go yet.

Hi

this is also out first cruise, looking forward to it regardless of the reviews Ventura is getting. Have now been on many holidays without kids and still miss them.

Hi there ,

The wife and I are on this one also. This will also be our first ever cruise celebrating our 25th wedding aniversary.

The reviews are more favourable now thank goodness on the whole looking forward to dressing up for the formal nights and relaxing on sunny beaches with the help of a few cocktails.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the congrat's, the actual day is in October but this cruise is to celebrate the occasion. Regarding Marco,s we have already decided to give a try.

This weekend we received our flight details, flying Thomas cook at 9:15 from Manchester. Now it seems real and just round the corner.

Hi Dave! Very good flight times.  I will be the one enjoying a pimms in the bar ha! ha! We are planning on trying marcos too. We will be celebrating a belated honeymoon eighteen years late. Our daughter is really jealous now but will be living it up with her friends at uni instead. Hope our room is okay onboard we are on riviera deck our travel agent reccomended it but on some sites they say these are bad rooms due to noise and no sunlight due to overhang. Not too much much of a problem though i am sure we will find a sunny spot up on deck. Have you been learning all the cruising speak so you will fit in with the experienced cruisers? Nice chatting to someone sharing our excitement i thought nobody else was going until you put that post up.

Dear Anne and Richard

Do you find yourself pointing things out that your child would like and thinking they would want to do this etc. I hope that this gets easier the good thing is i can use technology to keep in touch as there is a computer section on board thank goodness to email. I am sure that the holiday will be so exciting we wont miss her as much as we think. I am sure all the guilt buying of presents for her will ease our consciences.

Sorry for rambling ,anyway, bought another dress for the formal nights i keep buying bits. Last week we bought  walkie talkies for keeping in  touch on board it was reccomended on another site maybe we will not  use them but good for my husband who is a gadget man.
