| We are getting realy excited for our North American cruise leaving Aug.30th but are curious about the type of weather and temperatures to expect. We have also heard there is a good trip at Quebec involving a bicycle tour for a few hours. Anyone any views? John and Margaret previous cruises Oceana,Carribean 2005,Arcadia Panama canal 2007

| We are on this cruise as well. We did it 3 years ago and had a brilliant cruise. The cruise was a few weeks later than this year's cruise. The weather then was excellent on the whole. There were sunbathing days on board and the weather in most ports was good. We had a little fog in Boston but it soon cleared up. The only real bad weather was a hurricane! which meant we could not stop at St Johns Newfoundland. I am hoping we can stop this year. Aurora was brilliant in escaping the hurricane and we had no problems at all. My best advice is to pack something for all eventualities, sun, rain and cold. It is the North Atlantic in September after all. Don't let the weather deter you. The ports will be worth the effort, but we should get some nice weather. Have a great cruise!

| I have done this cruise a few times and its one of my favorites I have just splashed out for a few new outfits I usually take a wool jacket with me just in case it gets cold but on the whole its ok I also always have a light weight weatherproof jacket in my case wherever I travel and an umbrella you may laugh but I have known it to rain Hope you all have a nice cruise

| We have done this trip 3 times in the last 6 years and always had perfect sunny weather in every port except St John NB and St Johns NF where we had one part wet day each. New York has been perfect each time and I have some fantastic photos taken from the tops of Empire State and Rockerfeller Centre, crystal clear. With global warming it should be even better this time!! We are hoping for the same this September when we head out into the Atlantic again. I am studying guide book to plan our runs ashore in New York. Can't wait Richard
