| Hi Bob & Janet, Yes I am considering the Nuns Valley trip as it is 1/2 the price of what I think the equivalent P&O tour is - just waiting for Billy to confirm the P&O one is 'Leisurely Madeira'. I don't see that the refreshments are worth the difference!! Feebee_71

| Hi We have booked the Nuns Valley Tour, 4 of us on E928. We've booked the 8.30am tour as it gets us back to the ship at 12 noon, giving us the afternoon to go into Madeira if we wish. Rita

Funchal is a very nice place to wander, especially the market, the old part and the funicular for the views, if you have the time to do so after your tours.

| Maderia is a wonderful island, I was there in 2007 and will be returning in October. Make sure you get up early to watch as you come into dock. The bay is a horseshoe shape, you can make out the twinkling lights of all the houses, as you get nearer you can smell the flowers, it's quite magical. What ever trip you do you will enjoy I'm sure, and all the time you can smell the lovely flowers! Have fun!
Best wishes, Christine Next cruise X917 Oriana Sept 09 to the Caribbean
