Hi we are booked on our first cruise 18th July 2010 on the Arcadia.  We have been looking at using eavesway coaches.  We will be travelling from Keele, staffs - has anybody else picked up the coach from here?  I have a worry we will left at the services and no bus will come for us - silly idea I know.  How long is the coach journey from Keele to the boat?  thanks you any help

Hi,

I haven't picked up the coach at Keel, though we were picked up from Washington Services. This is a common place for picking people up and they often use it as a stop for refreshments & toilet etc. They are really good and it won't be a case of driving in and outetc.

We have used Eavesway many times from Knutsford to Southampton;  it a very efficient Service using modern comfortable Coaches.   We have often done a 'pick-up' from Keele.   The Coach will usually make a Lunch Stop on the M40 at the Warwick or Cherwell Valley Services;  the arrival time in Southampton about 2 - 2.30pm.   Even on bad travel days we have always picked up our booked passengers and arrived at Southampton in good time.

I have coached from Keele to Southampton many times. Pick up is usually at 10am (although there is talk that next year will be earlier)

You usually get to the ship about 3pm.

It's a very efficient service - I have every confidence in them

We travel from Bolton with Eavesway many times and have often picked up at Keele.  Its a wonderful way of starting the holiday, suitcases on coach and then next seen in your cabin. They do a really good job, the coaches are modern and comfortable and arrive around 2pm traffic permitting.  I have heard though they are going to leave earlier from all departure points next year. We will be booking our coach transfers for Christmas in the next few weeks.

Hi

I've cruised 3 times now and travelled down from Derbyshire using Eavesway without any problems.  The last time (4 weeks ago) I did ring them to ask whether I would be able to catch the coach at another pick-up point if motorway trafffic prevented me from making my proper connection.  They told me to ring them if that happened and they would advise me.

Enjoy your cruise!

Hi suemas

We have booked Evesway to join Oceana in May 2010 and we have a departure time of 7,45am from Preston. We have not used them before but we travelled down to Southampton by car and followed them and they dont hang around on the road and seem to make good progress.

Departure times and fares for Eavesway 2010 cruises can be found here

I should also add that all coaches are speed limited to 100kph (62mph) by law

An Eavesway coach hurtled past me the other week at a ridiculous speed. He certainly was travelling faster than 62 mph!!
