Unless your husband is dark-skinned (or already tanned) use the black DJ for the first formal night, as cream/white DJs make white skinned chaps a bit bleached out looking, especially in the photos.  Once a tan develops the cream/white DJs look good.

thats a no no Derek, having had umpteen rodent ulcers removed, which I blame on conscription in the Suez area, it is strictly no sun.  Wonder if he would try faketan? Cant imagine it.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has sued the army for lack of sun protection in Egypt during service. My first husband had the same problem and had a simaler spell of forced sunshine.

I understand that white/cream DJs are poo poo'd on the transatlantic Cunard cruises but on P&O I've always seen plenty on every cruise to the Canaries, to the Med and to the Fjords.

I think they create a very smart look if worn with sensible clothing.  A white shirt is essential in my view.

It used to be said that if you wore a white tux outwith the tropics you'd be mistaken for a waiter. But, times have changed and I have been one of many guys wearing one (with my bright red braces!)in much more northerly latitudes in recent years.

Patent leather shoes are the final accessory, IMO.

I have seen some shoddy footwear that completly spoils the whole look.
