| My husband and I will be docking at Cape Canaveral for a day in December on Oceana. We want to go to Kennedy Space Centre and assume a trip will probably the best option, but are undecided between 'Kennedy Space Centre' and the 'Kennedy Space Centre and NASA up close' trip which includes a 2 hour narrated tour with a space expert which sounds interesting. Does anyone have knowledge of these, and are we correct in assuming a trip is the best option.

| Hi Crow We have done Kennedy space centre twice and both times did the up close tour ... its well worth it .... we went as close to the launch pads as we were allowed to get ... we went onto the runway, where the shuttle lands ... they have a mock up of the moon landing mission control .... we also went into the place where they build the bits and pieces for the space station .... They also have 2 imax film theatres showing different films ... i think 1 was 3D, (if i remember rightly) ..... and we also listened to a question and answer session with an astronaut (can't remember his name off my head, but i had heard of him ) ..... absolutely fabulous day and well worth the money. Have never done it from a cruise so don't know what the excursion would cost, but i think it cost us about $50 each to get in. Karen x

| The NASA tour is £69 with P&O which is probably good given the exchange rates and it sounds worthwhile. Thank you.

| I went there a few years ago and i have to admit it was one of the highlights of our holiday fantastic tour. The cost the was about 9$ and worth every dollar had a full day there so if i went back it would be the first on my list to re visit.

| We visited the space centre when holidaying in Florida some years ago. It was an amazing feeling as you wander around the space shuttles that have returned to earth. There was even a small piece of the moon under a glass-topped dome. There is so much to see I would recommend it to anyone.
