| [quote] ..... Have booked cabin A222 has anyone been in this cabin previously .... Hi Alan, We have cruised with Artemis on 'A' Deck and were extremely happy. Our cabin grade was also a DB and the cabin number was, I am pretty certain, A440. So we were more mid ships than you are and we did not have the * as shown on the deck plan which seems to indicate a 3rd bed option and / or a connecting door. In any event she is small enough to get about on and there is no chance whatsoever of getting lost. Is there anything else you need to know ?

| Ma noverboard thanks for your reply.Pleased you were happy with your cabin on A deck.I would assume that all DBs are very similar so sounds good. My better half would like to know if there is anything like a radio alarm, or would we need to take one with us? I also understand that most basic toiletries are supplied. kind regards alan & lynne

| All the things you need are supplied, all I can say about Artemis is we LOVED the ship but the cabins were just....ok.. long & narrow, we left the beds as twin rather than double to give access to the window.

| [quote] the cabins were just....ok.. long & narrow... Not sure you have got that right jtd. There are certainly many cabins onboard as you describe but I do believe that Alan has booked one of the DeLuxe variety, as indeed we did. If this proves to be the case then these are some 50% larger - read wider. The cabin configuration is also entirely different, didn't measure ours but the 2010 brochure is showing 320 sq ft. Short of having a mini-suite that is about as good as it gets ?

| We were on Artemis when she was the Royal Princess and thought she was a great ship. We did notice a vibraiton at the back (which may have been fixed) and a squeak in the cabin .. however we were not in a suite. She had great viewing points on the decks and there always seemed to be plenty of deck space. The waiter was one of the best (Florin).

| [quote] ..... the ship still vibrates .... Does it ? We didn't notice anything, must have had more to drink than we thought. We certainly remember vibration on one of the P&O ships, thought it was Oriana and something about engine alignment.

| Vibrates maybe not, more of a shudder like a shaft out of balance, some tables in the conservatory seemed "possessed"
