Hi guys
We've booked our first cruise - and need to arrange some insurance. I've checked out P&Os but it seems very expensive (£180 for 2 adults for 16 nights).
Who do you lot use?
Thanks
Si

There are many topics on this forum about insurance, including problems with health, so I would suggest that you do a search.

| Just got ours this weekend & went with Marks & Spencer. I paid £168 for annual worldwide incl USA & Caribbean, for us both. We are both under 50. That price included a supplement for my 2 medical conditions. It wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Direct line were a good price but they totally excluded my medical conditions!

As I said what we paid wasn't the cheapest but I paid less for annual than P & O have quoted you for 16 nights!

| Have you tried Insure and Go online? Our annual worldwide cover is about £80.

Thanks for the helpful replies.. will take a closer look. There seem to be lots out there - but when compared to P&Os, they seem very cheap and I'm worried about them. I found Admiral did 'cruise insurance' - got a quote - about £40 - then reading the small print (remember, it was 'cruise' insurance) - it excluded cruises!!
Of course, I searched first - but it seems full of questions about over 70's or people with existing illnesses!

| We are on a 10 day xmas cruise to the canaries. I have a heart condition and had a heart op many years ago, although I don't take medication. I am always very careful to be frank and disclose everything - otherwise there is no point in having "insurance", it won't be valid! I have always paid a serious loading to any premium, but have just paid £32 FOR THE 2 OF US with Fortis. I've phoned back twice with questions to make sure this is not a mistake, but they assure me that I am covered for the existing condition.
