Hi Carol

Hope you are well.  It was warm last night as well.  I came home from church last night and didn't even have my coat fastened.  Maybe another Indian Summer is on it's way....

Well, after the door saga I have been on the phone a lot today trying to get the ramp sorted out now.  Somebody will come some time next week I was told!!!!!!!!    I replied back that it was a hazard and I needed somebody quicker than that.  So, a promise for a visit late this afternoon.   Yes, you can guess the rest..........  Nobody came and too late then to ring..........

Good evening sweetie

I have a sledgehammer, will that help? You can choose what you hit with it!

Just hope the man turns up to move 10,000 bricks and 1100 blocks tomorrow, otherwise I will be busy on Sunday!!

On a lighter note though, we are going Christmas shopping on Sunday with David.  He rung tonight and said Mandy and the youngsters are going to a children's birthday party.  He doesn't want to go so he has said he is taking us shopping instead......  He did say that he is taking his shop van instead of our car.....  Not that he thinks his dad likes shopping or anything!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I borrow the sledgehammer to knock some sense into Colin, please????

Not really, I know he can't help it but his memory and thinking is not at all good this week.   About 5pm he asked me if I wanted anything to eat, I said no thanks, he came through with a handful of biscuits and said he had had nothing at all to eat since he had had a couple of biscuits with his cup of tea first thing this morning.   When I told him he had, he was adamant he had not eaten anything at all, didn't I realise how long he had been without anything..........  I reminded him that he had had lamb chops, potatoes, green beans, carrots and peas.  Then a home made chocolate sponge pudding and custard at 2pm.   It took ages to get him to take it in that he had been eating all that.  If anybody had been here they would have thought we were starving him to death!!!!!!!

Not sure the sledgehammer would be enough!!!!!    Maybe a head transplant....    Poor Colin.  It is a good job we can still have a good laugh after he makes these mistakes.

HOYS is a day older!

Hopalong was at work this morning, but I took him home at 1pm, his leg swells up quite badly. He is now off until Monday, so hopefully he should be OK then. Hope so as its half term, and there will only be me left on duty.

Did get the rainwater drains installed today, so a little further towards completion.
