Colin has spent all today still working on the ramp even though we keep telling him to leave it.  A few years ago it would have taken him half an hour to sort it out himself but it takes him so long and tires him out.  He is absolutely worn out now but pleased with himself that it is finally safer.

Just before he started on the ramp this morning we had a visit about it, as I was expecting.  The suggestion was for the concrete ramp outside to be levelled down, the wooden inside ramp removed and the door dropped flush with the ground instead of all the ramps.  Trouble was he said he was going to have a discussion with his boss to check if it was feasible, he took lots of photographs, said it was the frame that had been installed out of line which is why the door doesn't seem right.  But, he did say that it would be a couple of weeks before they could start work on the ramps sorting out.  So, Colin set about getting this one a bit safer and we can now open the door better at least.

Good Evening Darling  How are you and HOYS tonight?  It has been raining here.  Did it stop you having to work so much today??  How is your son?

Hope you got a good night's rest last night.

Sorry, but NAH!!!!!!   I have no driver again.  Carol had a bit of a tickling cough yesterday.  She has always said that she never gets the flu and had no qualms about staying working when I was bad even though I told her and Marie to stop at home so they didn't get it.   This morning, her husband rung me first thing to say they had got their doctor very early because of her coming to work and she has the swine flu!!!!!!  Over the weekend she had taken her daughter and two grandchildren to stay at Nottingham and they went to Alton Towers on Saturday and Legoland on Sunday.  She thought she felt a bit tired yesterday because of the hectic weekend.   We are hoping her grandchildren haven't got it as well now.  So, I am back yet again to taking myself out to Thursday class etc so, I need the fine weather for a while until she gets back at least PLEASE MRS Curtis/Gere/HOYS.

Fair Weather Girl xx

Vamp With ~The Ramp????   Colin is getting so fed up with it all just now.  It is so ridiculous.  Each thing that gets done leads to something else and we still are waiting to put things back properly.

Now, Vampire - if something doesn't start going right soon I might just to change to the Vampire!!!!!  Do you think Fangs would suit me???

Hopalong is improving, he is going to walk to work tomorrow, to see how he gets on.

I have been resting today (HOYS says LIAR), been installing a water pipe to the new unit, talking to brickies, solicitor, builders merchant, valuation office, and digging a trench out ready for the brickies, another quiet day in retirement!

Never mind, 2 weeks tomorrow we will be off to Southampton for our cruise on IOTS, wont be talking to you then, no free internet on it. Thinks its about 50p a minute, and that soon adds up, most of the drinks are around $7
