Does anyone know if suite passengers are charged for their internet usage?

The reason for asking is that whilst on board Oceana in July / Aug we purchased a plan, I cannot remember how much it amounted to now, but upon checking our final bill noticed that we had been charged for it and then the same amount was re-credited to our account.

We were lucky enough to have a suite on this occasion so we're not sure if we were just lucky (my OH had won the free prize draw for 250 free minutes, but this was credited to the internet account separately) or if the money was refunded as we were in a suite.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Never heard of suite passengers getting free internet usage before but they may well do - more likely an "administrative" error.

We had unlimited free internet use when in a suite on Coral Princess.

Cunard allow you 2 hours of free internet use once you have done 2 cruises with them.

P&O don't!

It was probably my own fault for not checking, but when on Arcadia we brought an internet package.  Towards the end of our cruise I decided that I'd use up the remaining access we had left.  Not realising that no notification pops up on screen to let you know that you have run out of credit,  I carried on using the computer only to find that when we received our final statement  I had gone over and was charged an extra £5.  I wish that something had come up on the screen warning me about it, but there again I should have taken note on the amount of time I was on the internet so  suppose it was my fault entirely.
