| Excitement has been going on outside here. I have been smelling burning for a while. Colin keeps saying I am imagining it (don't know how he knows as he has no sense of smell at all). Anyway, there has been a fire engine and a police car down the road. Colin has looked out and thinks they were at the telephone box. They have just gone off now. Wonder if Guy Fawkes is around again?????? There have been fireworks going off around here for the last week now so it was maybe from one of them. Mavis x

| Backs OK, just an ache now, tested it this afternoon! Hopalong is also about OK, he always wanted a scar! Brickwork competition, did you not see it on the local news? The blonde won it, Colin gave his approval! HOYS didn't, so its two brothers, who are very good at their job and have an excellent reputation, they built our phase 2 building. Biggest problem is getting answers from the various utilities for ne services, its a nightmare. A new gas service is around £2300, and takes 8 weeks to put the pipe in, then another 3 for the meter! | How can you try to read through legal papers when you didn't learn to read???? Did you ask the solicitor to tape it so that you could hear it???? I think if they had to read out all these legal papers they might realise how ridiculous they seem to read and how undecipherable aa lot of it is. You need another expensive meeting for explanations of silly worded terms that nobody can understand at all. Mave x
