The major difference with the Superior stateroom over the Deluxe stateroom is that the beds are against the side wall and not in front of the balcony door. One of the main problems with the balcony cabins on Artemis is that the beds are in front of the balcony door and, depending on the bed configuration, can make it difficult to get onto the balcony without climbing over the bed.

These cabins are, in a way, treated as mini suites but without the butler service as Artemis does not have any mini suites.

Hi angie and pat

have not experienced superior de-luxe but we are in A222 on P923, which is a de-luxe balcony. They are basically same cabins but you get more goodies on arrival and during the cruise. there are only a small number of superiors, acouple on a-deck and on c-deck. However on further investigation when booking ,they are not in very good positions and this reflected in the cost. If you look at deck plans in the brochure you will be able to check where yours  is.

have a great cruise

regards

We found the low spot on Artemis was the cabins, unless you pay a great deal more.

We are on a guaranteed partial obstructed cabin - not been allocated a cabin number yet...I am hoping it will be ok!

They wanted extra £2K each for balcony but I could go on several more holidays for that!

..... who may have experienced one of these cabins .....

Yes and no is the answer !!!

I recently enquired  "Why are the Superior Deluxe cabins cheaper than the Deluxe cabins"

The response I received was that are cheaper because they have partially obstructed views, there are only a few of them, the sizes are virtually the same and they have the extra goodies to encourage the sale of these cabins.

This question arose when we were considering booking the Singapore to Singapore cruise on Artemis re 21011.

Hope this info is of some value to you.
