| Hi Carol Hope you are well. It is much cooler today. Hope it doesn't mean the start of the Winter weather coming. When the ice and snow comes it makes it difficult for me to get out in my chair. Mind you, if it is all down hill, I might be able to slide down!!!! he he he Mavis x

| David rung me tonight. He said shop had been heaving today. Mandy had called in to shop and he commandeered her into working behind the counter for an hour and half with his other two assistants who were in working. He complained that he was worn out this week, I told him that he should simply be pleased he is tired with so much work as other shops are doing practically nothing and shutting down. He has built up such a good reputation since he bought the shop, we are really proud of him but he does moan a lot about how worn out he is. He does have several staff to help him, but, he likes to be there as much as possible to see what is going on. It is 'Scooters Weekend' this weekend in Bridlington so he is working full time over the weekend and not having an time off at all just in case there are any problems for the staff and also because he is hoping for another busy time. Then he will be ringing me to say - mum, I am so worn out!!! Mavis x

| Darling: I might not be on here on Monday. Depends on what time I get home. I am going with David to Manchester and then to Bradford to his Wholesalers. Setting off from here 8am but not sure how late we will get back. He only went 2 weeks ago and is running short already of a lot of his best selling toys. He crams that big van completely full. It holds an awful lot but he just keeps buying such popular things. Also, some of his regulars have been choosing toys, having them put in the back storeroom and paying for them weekly. As soon as he arrives with another load they are putting more away. I shall enjoy the day out just David & me.... Mavis x
