We have been on two cruises on Ventura both outside main school hols the first one had about 400 children on this was near to half term so maybe some areas still had children off school and one with 200 children on. Apart from the two main pools I can't say we saw many children at all as they were engaged in the club activities having a great time. The spa pool and the rear pool on Ventura are both now adult only so these are the places to go if you would like a more relaxed swim.

Further to an earlier thread wouldnt it be nice to have a smaller boat to put all the moany whingers who have forgotten what its like to be young. Iam a 63 year old but hope I never become like them, yes there are disruptive noisy children but the same goes for some adults, I have been fortunate to only meet nice people of all ages on board. Thank goodness most people on this forum are pleasant and tolerant and their threads are somewhat less boring

Hi Blackman - we are also on this cruise and I don't think it will be over-whelmed with children but regardless of that we have found that the children who do travel with their parents on cruises have all been very well behaved.  We have never had a problem and the only thing I recall is a comedian hurriedly altering his jokes on spotting a group of youngsters in the front row during his show!!

You would need a larger boat for the wingers - not a smaller one!!!
