Anyone have any trick or treaters banging on the door last night?

We didn't have any. I think the neighbours now know not to call at ours. Mind you the razor wire and machine gun tower does act as a bit of a deterrent.

I had a nice bowl of bright red Cayenne chilli peppers ready to hand out as well for the 'little darlings'.

We love Halloween J

Not a one. And we bought some goodies in specially :-(

A colleague at work reckons she makes chocolate brownies with added laxatives, but I assume she's joking..

I was really disappointed, we only had one group of children trick or treating.  There seem to be less and less every year.

And I'd bought a big pile of goodies too, oh well I suppose I'll just have to help my kids eat them!

Well we had 28 ... I know that because Julie prepared 30 little treat bags including chews, swizzlers, crisps, lollies, wafers, stickers etc (everything the parent sshould not be encouraging their children to eat) ... and we only have 1 left over ... we would have had 2 but one of our dogs got its miserable paws on one

I find that the chocolate covered sprouts work well as a deterrent!!!!

Agree with the majority that we had none - though there were some not so youngsters - aged between about 14 and 20 at a guess - who thought it would be fun to set off fireworks in the carpark across the road - at least one hit my balcony doors, thankfully no damage.

In fact, since moving into this flat 4 years ago and this being my 5th October 31st here, I have never had trick or treaters!! Helps that we have secure door entry systems so people can't get into the block.

It is one of those American traditions I wish had stayed in the US.

We had none, normally get a few young ones earlier in the evening, and the wife had prepared some goodies, but nothing. Did notice a lot of fireworks this year including organised events, we attended one on the pier, later in the evening, it was very good. Obviously lots of family's attending, and children dressed up in scary outfits, also had the children's rides at half price.
