Well you won't do much it Barbados as you will just get on the ship eat & crash out, unless you are on Ventura or Azura on the 1st day so you stay overnight or on the last day when you are there for almost two days. Of the rest, I have been to Aruba lots of shops & nice beaches not much else, been to Jamaica but not Mo'bay, watch your step there, can be dodgy, St Lucia is a beautiful jungly island "Cosol Tours" are spoken of highly there, I would look for something "natural'' to do in SL.

Aruba has a large beach that is a short taxi drive away ... if memory serves me correctly the sane is very coarse though.

I think Grand Turk is pretty much a day at the beach

St Maarten, for something different do a visit to Maho beach at the end of the runway .. or Orient beach for some interesting views

St Lucia, could be getting my islands mixed up but I htink there is a lovely ay called Marigot Bay there.

Cayo Levantado, is the Bacardi Island, but the beach area designated for cruise ship passengers is quite small.
St Barts, a very pretty beach just over the hill from the pier /tender landing. Watch out for the local aircraft coming in to land just over your head if you are taking a dip. If you are considering a purchase from the beach bar, take Securicor along to guard all your cash.
Martinique only a few man made beaches a boat trip away. many get the next boat back to the ship.
You will need Euros for this little bit of France in the Caribbean.
The French are very proud of Martinique as the population displays all the well known characteristics of the country folk back home.

Hi James

We are also on this cruise.

We chose it for the laid back itinery

We have booked a full day tour in Montego Bay taking in Dunns River Falls, it is a bit dodgy in Montego bay so best to stick with a P&O trip, the locals are a little pushy. Our other trip is a day in St Lucia taking in Soufrie, the Pitons, the Sulpher pools and a sail trip back to the ship open bar included :-)

Grand Turk is a stroll around town & beach with party in Margaretavile bar in the PM

St Martten is best for shopping and beach, we are going to Palm Beach in Aruba and snorkelling in Bonaire.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Sorry my knowledge is not sufficient to recomend anything for those ports, but a word of warning.  We did the aerial tram ride in St Lucia last April and we were not happy with it.  Guide appalling, the 20 mins walk lasted 5 mins and when we were given our drink we were immediately told to get back in the coach!

Have a good trip

..... St Lucia ....... lovely bay called Marigot Bay ....

There is indeed and of Dr Doolittle fame  I seem to recall.

Pictures of this Bay that we had seen were really spectacular, however ......

Don't bother with the P&O trip. We arrived high above the Bay and parked for about 30 mins in a tacky car park with sellers of all sorts trying to sell us tourist tat. This beautiful Bay could only be seen from a great distance and was the biggest disappointment of the entire cruise.

No idea if it possible to actually get down to the Bay at sea level but if not then go for Sid's option - is my advice.

Sid, that sounds like the See & Sea tour .. we have done it twice and have enjoyed it thoroughly on both occasions.  Once we did the boat in the morning and the bus in the afternoon and the second time we did the bus in the morning and the boat in the afternoon ... both had their pros and cons.
