| No need for that... I don't mind a differing opinion but don't imply I am not being truthful or that I have not been on a weekender when I say that I have..hardly something to brag about if you have or not.

| Hi Emma - was that "Team Harrison" if so yes we did - did you hear Charlotte sing - XFactor contestants at your heart out - probably not as looks like you were otherwise engaged most of the time - lucky you!

| JTD Please don't be so sensitive - I assumed, wrongly as it turns out so my apologies, that as you so harshly condemn the weekenders you would never go on one and I was not bragging about the weekenders - it's not my style.

| Strange if it was staff who were indiscreet. Last cruise we had a great cabin steward, as ever, and exchanged a few words with him each day. He did actually look very tired, he was due leave soon, and he seemed to finish his cabin duties much later than in our previous experiences on board. During a chat one day we asked him how many cabins he serviced, as we had seen many reports on here that the number had increased significantly. He very politely told us that he was no longer allowed to disclose that information. Interesting. No, we did not hinder him, our brief chats were as he was carrying out his work, in passing and very short. It must have been the British staff complaining as they are the only ones who could possibly have been overheard.

| Didn't think for a moment you were, apart from OV flycruise, our 1st cruise was a weekender, it was wonderful sailing out of Southampton for the 1st time, Aurora it was. I just think they are far too short now

I must admit we have also been told by crew members - of various nationalities - and on several occasions, how hard they find the weekenders, as they are run off their feet.

| They seem to rise above it though I must admit!! I first found this out when we noticed the MUCH better atmosphere & food on a longer cruise & then in reverse when we did another short one. No reflection on the staff they work hard enough anyway.

I think that it is a well known fact that the crew do not like the "turnarounds" which means that they prefer longer cruises.
