| The scottiish schools will indeed be on hol but not "about a month" by mid July as the previous poster states!! Ventura is aimed fo families with children. We've just come off Oriana and the cruise after ours was expecting 7 kids (term time). Slight difference in Ventura - they were expecting over 100!! They will have loads more in mid July. Have a great time wherever you choose.

| 25 June is last day of term for some Scottish schools. 25 June to 17 July isn't far off a month.

The Fjords is an absolutely beautiful and romantic destination. Crisp snowey mountain tops, Glaciers, still crystal clear water, beautiful waterfalls, mountains and amazing history. Myself and my husband went in June on Oceana. Such beautiful scenary and a very adult destination. I would think a perfect place for a honeymoon. When we went they were in the grip of a heatwave so temp up to 27 C. I would absolutely recommend it and they say June/July is the best time to go.

| Thank you Mee Mee. Oh its hard to make a decision - but we'll get there. One thing I know for sure is - we'll go to the Fjords one day - whether it be for the honeymoon or not. You were certainly lucky to get a heatwave when you were there. Amazing! Jen :-)

| We did the fjords 26 June this year on Ventura for one week - scenery was fab and we really enjoyed our cruise, even though Norway wouldn't have been somewhere that immediately sprang to mind for a holiday. However, I did notice on these forums that the cruise following ours (3 July for two weeks in the Med) had a lot of children on board as the school hols start in Scotland/N Ireland at the beginning of July, not the 3rd or 4th week like in England. We thought the young ones on board were very well behaved and there is a lot for them to do "away from grown ups" so you probably wouldn't notice their presence that much.

| We went In June (same cruise as MeeMee) to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It certainly ticked all the right boxes for us!
