Hi Sue V,  No we didn't attend any shows, we didn't use the casino, we didn't use the cinema, we didn't use the pub, we didn't want to.

On the first evening we briefly visited the shops, and then well, ** *** * ****** **** **** ********* **** ***** ***!.

We stayed on board and did not go into Zeebrugge/Bruges.  We used to live in Brussels, so that area was a weekend drive out sort of trip.

We had a wonderful time, more of the ***** above!

Whooppee!

Hi JTD, no we didn't make it to the Hydropool.  One day when/if we meet, ask me again, and I will tell you precisely what we did that got me into fits of giggles and gails of laughter - and I have the photos to prove it!  Now work that one out!  It was absolutely hysterical - enough said.

I CAN be the most outrageous fun, trust me!

Cheers.

Hi Jenni, we were in B101 - what banging? I did however hear the Captain mention creaking noises!!!!!

We are going to be on C deck for the next one (unless we can sneak in another one in the meantime, but I doubt it).

Ha ha!  I was on the Arcadia when she crossed the Atlantic in force 10 winds / 25 foot seas... great fun!  We took to walking the corridor of deck 8 (Australia deck) from the bow to the stern just to listen to the ship... at the bow, it was banging and creaking, and walking was quite difficult as we got bounced from wall to wall in the corridor.  Much like having too much wine to drink, but without the bar bill(*).

Walking away from the bow, it got much quieter, we lost that "oooh, I'm light... bugger, I feel heavy... now I'm floating" feeling,  Midships, it was nice and quiet, with little ship movement.  Definitely the best place to be for poor devils who get seasick.

Then as we approached our cabin (on the stern, overlooking the wake) it got noisy again, banging, creaking etc....

VP

(*) We later found out that drinking a bottle of wine each before walking the corridor cancelled the effects of the heavy sea, so we then didn't bounce off the walls.

I  really like that, one minute floating, the next sinking, the next - sort of in the air feeling, that you get when walking on board in rough weather.

Makes you feel that you are actually on a ship and going some!!

When things go crashing though, we do have a laugh!
